AI Audio Campaign wins the prestigious German Media Award.

AudioStack's campaign with Omnicom Media Group and PENNY Germany has won the “Deutscher Mediapreis”, the German Media Award 2024.

Omnicom’s client PENNY, one of Europe’s largest retailers, was the frontrunner to test their AI product “S.A.R.A” (Speech & Audio Real-Time Automation), which includes AudioStack’s AI-powered audio production workflows. Now PENNY Deutschland has also been honored with the German Media Award, for their campaign “Penny Markt: Penny from the Block”.

Partnering with AudioStack, PION3ERS, MPX GmbH, Adylic and OMD Germany, the campaign was a perfect showcase of how brands like PENNY are leading the way in embracing the future of audio by using AI in the creative production process to create scale and local relevance across their paid media.

For this campaign AudioStack created PENNY’s own exclusive voice by cloning a new brand voice and allowing the retailer to maintain their sonic brand identity through dynamic advertising. 

Using the cloned voice, the client produced more than 2,800 personalized, dynamic audio spots for more than 220 stores completely automatically, scalably and in real-time, bringing PENNY closer to consumers than ever before through local shoutouts of their nearest PENNY store.

In addition to affordable offers, this improved local relevance dramatically, with consumer’s perceived proximity increasing by 53% and leading to 38% claiming PENNY would be their first choice for shopping.
