4,400+ hyper-localized audio ads in 48 hours: here’s how AudioStack redefined audio advertising for a leading American eyewear and eye care retailer.

Objectives:

From January to March 2025, a leading American eyewear and eyecare retailer offered free annual eye exams and special discounts to in-store customers in 890 locations in malls and shopping centers across the USA.

To support the initiative, it was essential to spread awareness and increase store visits. As a brand well-versed in executing highly-targeted national campaigns, the retailer strategically designed its incentives to effectively achieve these goals.

Four different flights would showcase different discounts at various stages of the campaign, and personas ranging from Pragmatic Buyers to Fashion Shoppers would be targeted.

With the foundation for a national, audio-first ad campaign in place, the next step was to produce the broadcast-ready assets needed at scale and in record time.

Solutions:

Together with Starcom, the retailer, and its DSP, The Trade Desk, AudioStack was chosen to facilitate the campaign. Why?

Firstly, because only AudioStack’s AI-powered, intelligent audio production platform could produce and version the quantity of ads needed in the timeframe. It could use AI to generate lifelike voices, match them to sound beds, and version them for listeners across a variety of audio channels.

Secondly, because the retailer, Starcom, and The Trade Desk required a trusted partner that was familiar with the realities of producing audio ad campaigns of this scale and complexity. This involved working with the most critical radio and podcast platforms - iHeart, Spotify, and Pandora (SiriusXM) - to target shoppers by age, profile, and location.

So, how did the campaign go?

Results:

Between late January and March 2025, AudioStack enabled the retailer to deliver over 4,400 unique audio ads to listeners local to 890 stores across the USA during 4 distinct flights.

It took just 48 hours to produce all of these ads – including specific campaign messaging, legal notes, and location-specific details. This was made possible by AudioStack’s game-changingly fast production workflows and the experience and responsiveness of the teams working together.

The results, as powered by Cuebiq, have shown how far you can go in so little time.

The campaign's ads were heard by listeners across the USA and are projected to deliver over 40,186 store visits nationwide. Notably, the results showed that, for the period of the campaign, one of those channels alone is responsible for 2,402 completely new store visits

This speaks to the success of dynamic audio in driving demand conversion.

In a unique category like retail eyewear, where walk-in visits and complimentary eye exams are just the starting point of a long-term customer relationship, the reduced campaign costs and faster execution are expected to deliver a meaningful return in customer lifetime value.
