Will Listeners Buy AI? Unveiling the Future of Audio
Have you ever wondered if AI could truly replicate the human voice? Or if it's just a gimmick? We did too. That's why we hosted a live session, "Will Listeners Buy AI?", diving deep into the world of AI audio creation. And let us tell you, the results were mind-blowing.
From AI-Generated LinkedIn Posts to Cloned Voices: The Reality of AI in Audio
We're already surrounded by AI. From the text you read online to the images you see, it's woven into our daily lives. But what about audio? Can AI truly create believable and engaging audio experiences?
In a presentation our Creative Director, Sam Crowther did at the The Future of Audio and Entertainment event, he explored the capabilities of AI in the audio space, tackling crucial questions:
Why should we use AI in audio?
When and how do we use it effectively?
Are the results believable?
Will AI replace audio professionals?
We showcased the impressive technology of Audio Stack, a platform that empowers content creators with AI-driven tools for scriptwriting, voice generation, production, and delivery. We explored text generation, text-to-speech, speech-to-speech, and even voice cloning.
Witnessing the Unbelievable
The highlight of the session was the live voice cloning demonstration with our volunteer, Sam Austin (Head of Audio at Good Stuff). We took recordings of Sam's voice and, using AI, created a cloned version. The results were astonishing. Watch now for it all
We then used Sam's cloned voice to create a hilarious and relatable ad for a fictional product called "Sonic Nag," a smart speaker app that uses AI to nag kids (and husbands!) to do chores. We also demonstrated speech-to-speech technology by having Sam's cloned voice flirt with George Clooney in a coffee ad.
The Human Element: Can AI truly replace audio professionals?
While AI's capabilities are undeniable, we emphasised the importance of the human element in audio production. AI needs the guidance and creativity of audio professionals to truly shine.
Sam Austin, admitted that she was initially skeptical about AI in audio. However, after witnessing the live demonstration, she was blown away by the technology's potential.
Ready to see the future of audio?
If you're curious about the potential of AI in audio, you need to watch this session. Witness the incredible capabilities of voice cloning, speech-to-speech technology, and AI-powered audio production.
